Herbal:  Manuka Essential Oil

Properties:  analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiseptic, cytophylatic, expectorant, immunostimulant, vulenrary

Therapeutic Uses:  bronchial infection, bronchitis, coughs, influenza, skin infection, wounds, cuts, grazes, contusions, ulceration, fungal skin infection, athletes’ foot, parasitic infection, ringworm, mites, head lice, scabies

Blends Well With:  basil, bergamot, cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, mastic, niaouli, oregano, peppermint, pine, rosemary, spruce, tea tree, thyme

Ways to Use Manuka Essential Oil:

Allergies:  Mix 4 drops Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp carrier oil, massage into soles of feet.

Arthritis & Rheumatism:  Blend 3 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp coconut oil, massage into affected areas.

Athlete’s Foot:  Mix 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp carrier oil, massage into feet and in between toes.

Bacterial Infections:  Blend 6 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tbsp carrier oil, add to a warm bath.

Boils & Folliculitis:  Blend 3 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with ½ tsp of coconut oil, dab affected area 2-3 times a day. 

Bronchitis:  Blend 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp carrier oil, massage into chest.

Colds & Flu:  Mix 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp carrier oil, massage into chest.

Coughing:  Blend 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp carrier oil, massage into chest.

Dandruff:  Mix 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tbsp coconut oil, massage into scalp. Leave in for 30 minutes, rinse. 

Muscle Aches & Pain: Blend 6 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tbsp carrier oil, add to a warm bath.

Ringworm:  Mix 4 drops of Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp coconut oil, massage into area of concern.

Scar Tissue:  Blend 2 drops Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tsp coconut oil, massage over the scar twice per day.

Shingles:  Blend 5 drops Manuka Essential Oil with 1 tbsp coconut oil, gently dab onto breakout areas. Repeat twice per day.

Stress:  Diffuse 6 drops of Manuka Essential Oil in an essential oil diffuser.
